Programs for Young Children
Preschool through Kindergarten
(Ages 2 1/2 to 6 years)
Our Montessori program is a three-year individualized curriculum. The
program stimulates and challenges each child at their own particular level as
they progress from development of independence at age 2 1/2 to the development
of fluency and phonetic reading at age six.
Our focus is to nurture the whole child: physically, socially, academically
and emotionally. Our curriculum includes language, math, practical life
activities, science, social studies, music, art, and physical exercise.
- Classic Montessori family grouping, ages 2 1/2 to 6 together in the
classroom
- Fully accredited Montessori teachers
- Low student-teacher ratio
- Individualized time with each student
- Emphasis on the development of self-confidence and a sense of positive
accomplishment
A kindergarten program is provided to students in their third year and
expands all the lessons of the preschool years. Kindergartners receive
weekly assignments and their progress is monitored daily by the teachers.
Our instruction ensures our graduates are well-prepared for first grade.
Compare Montessori with traditional kindergartens.
